The egg shape is an excellent project for the participant to gain understanding of working with all the wood grain directions. The participant will learn about different species of wood and its properties. The purpose of this course is to experience working with wood with one’s hands. The participants will learn safe carving knife use. The participant will learn safe carving techniques by carving a wooden egg.
