The Cowichan Community Workshop exists to provide the community with access to tools and a space to work on their own projects. We may also be considered a makerspace - a place where people come together to create.

We envision a place to:

• Allow CCWC members to socialize with members of all ages and backgrounds.

• Provide workshop related education.

• Provide a workshop for those who need to create!

The Cowichan Station Area Association brings neighbours together to enhance and protect the livability, sustainability, and cultural heritage of our area. When the community’s only public building, a 100-year old school, was closed in 2006, CSAA stepped up to restore and run the school as an arts and recreation centre, The HUB.

Tools

The workshop is equipped with many woodworking and carpentry tools. Tools available include drill press, table saw, band saw, jointer, planer, wood lathe.
